The following detailed instructions must be followed to have your IRB application accepted electronically.
- Your entire IRB application package (including the application, consent document, copy of the survey, questionnaire or interview questions, any recruitment materials, etc.) should be put into a single PDF file. Do not e-mail multiple files (attachments).
- You should name your file (using your name) lastname_firstname.pdf
- E-mail your single PDF file to irb@truman.edu before the deadline of the review date you would like your application to be reviewed (the deadlines are typically Friday’s at 5pm). E-mailed files must be received prior to the deadline to be reviewed at the next meeting. Any files received after the deadline will be held for the next meeting.
- You should receive a confirmation e-mail, stating that your application package was received and the date it will be reviewed within 24 hours (Monday – Friday). If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact the IRB Office (irb@truman.edu or 660.785.7245) to inquire.
