Module 3: Review Requirements
Introduction
The third module explains how the Institutional Review Board actually reviews project proposals. The IRB has three main considerations when reviewing an application: Whether the project is or is not exempt, special considerations for projects with minors, and correct use of consent. The former two will be the basis for this module. The consent process will be discussed in depth in module 4.
